Robert Half are delighted to be working with a fantastic organisation based in Birmingham based within the Construction Industry for an Internal Auditor.

The role of Internal Auditor is going to be supporting ongoing Construction contracts you will have a Commercial & Audit understanding to be able to succeed in this role. The salary for this role will be between £30,000 - £40,000.

You will support in the Audit scope meeting and working alongside Internal and External stakeholders around Birmingham.

Responsibilities Include -

  • Working with subcontractors to facilitate the audits including requesting information both commercial & Financial
  • Data Analysis across large volumes of data, verifying costs in line with cost forecast
  • Pull out any variances or unviable costs
  • Audit of all cost providing solutions to mitigate risks
  • Support cost manager in releasing findings & Improvement steps
  • Work with external subcontractors to audit labour costs understand payroll & Schedule costs
  • Cohesive working with commercial teams to ensure financial information is kept up to date
  • Producing reports detailing all findings & recommendations
  • Proactively improve key Audit areas
