Description

Your key responsibilities as an International Accounts Officer:

  • Monitor transfers ledger on a monthly basis
  • Investigate and rectify anomalies
  • Work with the International Finance trainee
  • Liaising with corporate Finance to post missing payment journals
  • Review and reconcile creditor ledger
  • Monitor project documentation and monthly review ensuring projects invoicing in ledger are complete
  • Ensuring integrity of ledger and provide support to Senior international accounts officer
  • Timely response to Bank Queries
  • To support the department and its wider stakeholders

Profile

You will have:

  • A degree in Accountancy/Finance
  • Studying AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW advantageous
  • Proven experience in financial accounting
  • Well organised and efficient ability to manage competing deadlines within set time constraints
  • Good Excel skills; in designing and manipulating reports
  • Ability to exercise judgement and take decisions on unexpected problems
  • Good written communication skills, able to prepare written procedures, reports and deliver internal presentations
  • Verbal skills to communicate with all levels in an organisation
  • Ability to drive through continuous improvement
  • Experience in operating and extracting data from complex accounting systems is desirable
