A Management Accountant is needed on a permanant basis for a manufacturing company based in Birmingham. The Manufacturing industry is growing rapidly. My client needs someone who can start immediatly.
Some of the key Management Accountant responsibilities will be:
- Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements.
- Continuous monitoring and involvement of ongoing P&L forecasting and scenario analysis to supports key decisions.
- Preparation of the monthly consolidated management accounts.
- Overlooking the progress of bookkeeping to ensure all activities are completed.
- Analysing financial performance and making long term forecasts.
- Recommending ways of cutting costs - very important skill to have!
- Advising managers about the financial implications of business decisions to aid growth and profit.
- Developing and managing financial systems/policies.
Ideal Candidate:
- Have previous experience in the Manufacturing industry.
- Have previous experience in a Management Accounts role (essential)
- Be immediately available (essential)
