I'm thrilled to be collaborating with a dynamic and innovative team that is seeking a seasoned accountant to take on a key leadership role within their organization. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a significant impact on the company's culture and growth. As the second in command to the Managing Director, you will be instrumental in driving the financial strategy and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. Your leadership will be critical in guiding the accounting team and supporting the MD in achieving the company's financial objectives. Below are some of the key responsibilities and duties associated with this position:

- Overseeing accounts payable, including invoicing and expense processing.- Managing supplier reconciliations and payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.- Handling accounts receivable, credit control, and the administration of invoice discounting.- Supervising cash book management and banking activities.- Administering payroll with precision and confidentiality.- Providing expert support and resolving queries by liaising with staff and management.- Assisting the management accountant with comprehensive month-end reporting as needed.
