Description
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Reviewing and analysing financial data for accuracy and compliance.
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Working closely with the Accounting & Finance team to streamline accounting functions and operations.
- Communicating financial information to non-finance managers within the business.
- Engaging in cost analysis and identifying savings opportunities.
- Contributing to the improvement of financial policies and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- working towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Experience in a similar role within the Housing sector.
- Strong technical skills including proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to convey financial information effectively.
