ROBERT WALTERS - MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - BIRMINGHAM (HYBRID WORKING) - £55,000 PER ANNUM
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Management Accountant to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your financial expertise within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for providing accurate and data-based information on the company's profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity.
What you'll do:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and present them to senior stakeholders.
- Develop and manage financial systems/policies.
- Control income, cash flow, and expenditure.
- Manage budgeting processes, including forecasting trends.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
What you bring:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting.
- Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner.
