Overview

An established organisation in the Manufacturing sector has approached Mitchell Adam for assistance with their search for an experienced Management Accountant. This organisation has gone through a period of sustained growth and are looking to expand their finance function by bringing in a talented individual with a strong ability on Microsoft Excel. Their offices are in Birmingham, close to the Birmingham Airport and are subsequently very accessible via both car and public transport.

As a Management Accountant, you'll be working directly with a Qualified Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include producing the monthly management account packs, compiling a number comprehensive reports and then providing insight and commentary on your findings to senior management when involved in financial meetings. You will also be involved in the budgeting and forecasting process with your colleagues. This organisation is ideally looking for someone who is pursuing their studies in either ACCA or CIMA and provide a very generous study support package to encourage and assist those who are looking to become chartered.

Skills Required
  • To have a strong level of experience working in accounting roles and producing the monthly management account packs.
  • To be confident when using Microsoft Excel, and to have a strong data manipulation ability.
  • To be either actively studying for your ACCA or CIMA Qualification, or to have strong desires to study your chosen course.
  • To be driven and charismatic. This role has some fantastic progression opportunities which can be obtained with ambition and a high quality of work.
