Location: Birmingham
Salary: 40,000 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm. Hybrid working
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Management Accountant to join their ever-expanding team. The main purpose of the role is to ensure timely and accurate reporting of management accounts. Provide key analysis and insight to the wider business stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
" Group monthly reporting
" Preparation of consolidated profit and loss
" Reconciliation of intercompany trading accounts
" Month end accruals and review of overheads
" Preparation of Departmental management accounts.
" Daily Sales Reporting
" Assistance in annual budget
" VAT Returns and associated tasks
" Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
" Control Account Reconciliations
" Government Statistics,
" Bonus Reconciliation
" Analysis of Samples issued
" Internet Banking authorisation
" Liaise with auditors
" Ad hoc requests
" Abide by our clients Core Values and Code of Ethics and strive to meet and exceed the

" Part Qualified Accountant or equivalent
" Excellent analytical skills
" Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
" Ability to work to tight deadlines
" Organisation and time management skills (priorities and multi tasks)
" Computer literate with good spreadsheet capability
