A well-established accountancy firm in Birmingham is seeking a Part-Time Audit Senior (21 hours per week, flexible hours negotiable) to join their team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can work independently, managing a client portfolio and preparing FRS 105 & FRS 102A accounts with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be client-facing, responsible for delivering high-quality audit and accounting services while ensuring compliance with relevant financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare FRS 105 & FRS 102A accounts and complete audit files with minimal input required for final review.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as their key point of contact.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and auditing standards.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and advice to clients.
  • Work autonomously while contributing to the firm’s collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA) or QBE with relevant experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of FRS 105 & FRS 102A.
  • Ability to work without supervision, producing high-quality audit and accounts files.
  • Experience managing a client portfolio and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
