Ambition are supporting a leading international law firm, with their recruitment for an experienced Partnership Tax Accountant to join their team in Birmingham.

They have leading practices in Corporate, Litigation, Tax, Banking and Finance, Real Estate, and Private Wealth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Addressing partner queries regarding pay and tax affairs
  • Calculating partner net of tax drawings allowances and setting payments
  • Managing partner promotions and changes
  • Preparing partner tax reserves, associated journals, personal tax returns, and tax payments to HMRC
  • Reviewing partner tax balances and releasing tax reserve balances post-tax year closure
  • Tax planning for partners, including pension contribution relief
  • Handling departing partners and settling current account balances

Requirements:

  • Qualified by experience or ATT qualified
  • Significant experience in personal tax
  • Proficient in Excel and CCH personal tax software
  • High levels of confidentiality, discretion, and diplomacy
  • Ability to process large volumes of data quickly and accurately
