Senior Accountant required to join our client, an Accountancy Firm based in Birmingham (near Bournville) on a full time, permanent basis.

Senior Accountant Position Overview- The candidate will fulfil the following duties, including:
- Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships.
- Production of analysis and reports in preparation for client meetings
- Handle day to day enquiries and queries from clients
- Reviewing the work of more junior members of the team
- Handling HMRC enquiries and Compliance checks.
- Strong practice experience and preparation of statutory year end accounts and SME - with businesses turnover between £1 million and £10 million
- Experience of preparing CT600s, personal tax, especially Capital Gains, issues related to domestic rental
- High level of accounting standards, industry specifics and their applications
- ACA or ACCA qualified/part qualified
- £35,000 - £47,500 per annum (dependant on experience and qualifications)
- 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Working hours can be 8am - 4:30pm or 9am - 5:30pm (1 hour lunch break)
