• Preparing and reviewing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their key advisor and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Reviewing corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to HMRC regulations
• Providing business and financial advisory services to support client growth and decision-making
• Supporting audit engagements, assisting clients with regulatory compliance
• Mentoring and training junior accountants, supporting their development
• Liaising with clients, HMRC, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless service delivery
• Keeping up to date with changes in tax laws, accounting regulations, and best practices

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearly qualified with relevant experience
• Strong background in accountancy practice, working with a range of clients
• Technical expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and business advisory services
• Excellent client management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly
• Experience in mentoring and training junior staff
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
• A proactive approach, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
