Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant (ACA/ ACCA Qualified)

Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom (hybrid)

Contract duration: 12 months (Potential of extension)

Applicants will need to be technically astute with relevant post qualified experience. This is a small team in which the successful applicant will gain significant experience with potential future progression opportunities.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

-ACA Qualified or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years industry experience.

-Previous experience in a fast growing, international business.

-Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and relevant way.

-Experience in optimising finance processes to improve efficiency and controls

-Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence and challenge others.

-Resilient, and able to cope with high levels of change.

-Experience working with an enterprise accounting software, NetSuite is preferred.

Key responsibilities

-Act as a key member of the Finance team, lead, motivate and inspire the junior team to reach the next level of performance.

-Monitoring and ensuring all tasks to be completed in a timely manner and people are accountable for the work performed to high standards.

-Provide operational support to the finance team and wider business. Support the Group Accountant with statutory reporting and group audit.

-Collaborate with the FP&A team on non-business as usual project work.
