Mitchell Adam are delighted to continue their collaboration with an exciting established organisation in Birmingham City Centre. This organisation has gone through a small period of expansion, and as a result are looking to bring on a Senior Management Accountant into their talented and experienced team. Their offices are easily accessible via public transport due to their close proximity to both New Street and Snowhill stations and are accessible via car due to their free on-site car park.

The organisation has have sought to be competitive in their industry and have continued to develop and provide a fantastic service to their clients. They have taken on some fantastic business in recent years and have been successful when competing with the household names. The organisation has tried to implement a very welcoming working culture. As a Senior Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include overseeing and conducting the production of the monthly management account packs. You will also be involved in producing comprehensive reports on the P&L and discussing and explaining variances to senior management.

Skills Required
  • To have a strong level of experience producing management accounts. As this will be a critical part of the role.
  • To have experience in supervising a team before or to be confident in regard to assisting your colleagues.
  • To have experience in a variety of accounting responsibilities, such as payroll, completing cash flow forecasting, posting journals and completing reconciliations.
  • To have a strong level of communication skills, in this role you will be interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and it is key to be able to communicate effectively.
