Overview

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with an innovative and developing professional services firm based in the heart of the city. This business has been challenging the status quo in their industry, and due to growth, is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to bolster their team. This is an exciting position, which will allow the successful candidate to lead on MI pack reporting, collaborating directly with senior leadership and managing a small team.

The studying professional we are looking for will be able to leverage their experience for a high level of niche exposure within this role. You will be using your partnering skills to deliver the management pack at board level, analysing variances and relaying key findings. You will also be expected to assist with some statutory reporting too, and the VAT. You will also play a key role in the budgeting process for the business.

Skills Needed

  • You will be actively studying for your CIMA/ACCA, preferably at finalist level.
  • Have previous exposure to working with non-financial stakeholders at a high level, explaining variance and producing your own commentary.
  • Be of an exceptional level in excel in order to effectively analyse reports and break down data.
  • Experience of line management, or supervisory responsibility is desirable, but not essential.
