Overview

Our housing association client based in south Birmingham, has an exciting opportunity for a systems-focused accounts professional to join the team and lead a key system implementation project. As an organisation committed to growth and service excellencethe succesful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining the financial systems across several key departments.

In this role, you will work closely with various teams across finance, operations, and external partners to ensure the smooth integration and functionality of the financial systems. Your responsibilities will include system improvements, troubleshooting, and ensuring data accuracy, all of which support the production of monthly and quarterly management reports.

Skills required

  • Candidates should ideally hold a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) and have a strong background in systems accounting.
  • Proven ability to effectively engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, delivering efficient system solutions and financial insights.
  • Ambitious and dedicated professionals who are looking to grow within the organisation, and who can take on the role of a systems expert and mentor to others.
  • Experience in housing, property management, or a related field is advantageous, along with proficiency in financial systems.
