Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Reporting

  • Provide documentation to external advisers (corporation tax, R&D, transfer pricing)

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, PSA, US sales tax

  • Support employment tax compliance (IR35, P11D, STBVs, etc.)

  • Assist with group tax forecasting, provisions, and financial statement disclosures

Tax Strategy & Risk Management

  • Monitor tax legislation changes and assess impact

  • Support audits and respond to tax authority queries

  • Help document tax processes and support SAO compliance

  • Identify tax risks and assist in mitigation strategies

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with legal, finance, and operations to integrate tax into key decisions

  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders

  • Experience in corporate tax compliance/reporting

  • Strong grasp of financial systems and reporting standards

  • Clear communicator, highly organised, and detail-focused

  • Collaborative and open to further qualifications
