Tax Compliance Director Birmingham Up to £100,000
Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a highly TOP ranking firm of accountants looking for a Tax Compliance Director. This role will be instrumental in leading the delivery of UK corporate tax compliance work for clients in a range of industries including high street brands.
Role Requirements:
- Lead Client Relationships: Oversee a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, providing expert tax compliance and advisory services. Build strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor and ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Deliver Technical Expertise: Provide comprehensive tax advice on a range of complex issues and liaise with our technical teams in areas including transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, group reorganisations, patent box.
- Business Development: Although not an integral part of the role, you will contribute to business development initiatives, building relationships with potential clients and collaborating with directors to expand our corporate tax offering.
- Mentor and Develop: Coach and mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with colleagues in other departments to identify tax-related opportunities and risks for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to service delivery.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Corporate Tax Director or equivalent role.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax law and regulations.
- Experience in corporate tax compliance.
- Excellent client relationship management skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work on multiple complex assignments.
- Business development skills.
- Acknowledged as a Tax expert.
- Qualified CTA, ATT, ACA or ACCA.
