Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established Award winning firm of accountants based in Birmingham that are keen to appoint a skilled and experienced VAT manager.
Role Requirements -
- Act as the central resource for the Firm in relation to all VAT related activities.
- Support clients across a range of client types and industry sectors.
- Develop strong and long-lasting relationships with clients by building trust and through regular communication.
- Build and develop strong internal relationships with Partners and business areas in order to identify and leverage VAT opportunities from within the Firm's existing client base.
- Increase the external profile of the Firm's VAT offering, with the support from the marketing and business development team.
- Begin to introduce new clients to the Firm.
- Train and develop colleagues to increase their understanding of VAT risks and opportunities.
Personal Requirements -
- Excellent VAT technical knowledge across a broad range of industries.
- A strong commercial approach to winning and delivering work.
- Genuine ability and desire to build relationships within the Firm.
- Confident and competent at delivering presentations and training.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Relevant professional qualifications (CTA/ACA/ACCA).
