Following an incredible acquisition, a global company are searching to increase their finance team, by introducing an Accounts Assistant. Within this role you will gain the chance to gain greater exposure to all areas of finance, as well as working alongside an incredible team.

The successful individual will be an someone who can manage allocating cash, handle daily payments and have involvement in month end duties, such as reconciliations. In this role, you will have exposure to both side of the ledger, payable and sales, creating detailed reports about both.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be a part of a sociable team, who only look to provide the best service to clients and stakeholders. You will have the chance to be involved in projects to improve processes and progress within the company.

Skills required

  • Ideally a knowledge of the accountancy software, SAP, and a knowledge of Excel, ideally with practical application.
  • Practical exposure to both sides of the ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Be a confident and outgoing individual with great communication skills, as you will regularly engage with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Be an ambitious and hard-working individual, who is looking to further their career and gain valuable knowledge from experts within the field.
  • Have great time management and organisational skills, to enable you to hit a number of tight client deadlines on a weekly and monthly basis.
