Overview

Mitchell Adam are currently recruiting for a nationally revered client based regally just off Colmore Row in Birmingham. This property business has been organically growing from strength to strength, acquiring new clients and expanding their core offering. Due to tremendous growth in a specific team managing service charges, we are looking for a motivated Assistant Accountant to apply their commercial acumen and assist with the accounts for a number of clients.

You will be joining a small facet of the much larger accounts team, working with ten others. Your position will revolve around assisting in the production of month end management accounts, from reconciling accruals, prepayments and balance sheets, so the fundementals of double entry bookkeeping is a required skill.

Skills needed

  • You will have previously created accruals and prepayments.
  • Be a confident and articulate individual, as you will be partnering with business leaders from multiple departments.
  • Have a great skillset on excel as a base before learning the bespoke internal software.
  • Ideally, you will have exposure in practice, although preferred this is not required.
