Overview

This large property business is looking to grow its Birmingham office with the appointment of an ambitious, driven and talented trainee accountant. The variety of this role will perfectly complement AAT studies, helping an individual pick up valuable practical experience to match their study modules.

Prior experience in accounting is not required, as long as you have some knowledge of entry-level accounting duties and are eager to learn and hit the ground running. This is a unique chance to join a leading practice who will provide personalised, in-depth training as well as the opportunity to work flexibly from home.

Ideally, you will:

  • Be studying toward your AAT qualification, looking for an opportunity to step into a larger firm and develop your flourishing experience
  • Be at the start of your accountancy career, but have tangible drive, ambition and hunger to progress and develop into a qualified accountant in the future
  • An impressive work ethic is desired in this role, as you will need to work hard in order to progress your own ability
  • Be proficient in all Microsoft Packages including MS Word, Power Point and Excel (basic understanding of Pivot Tables and VLookups)
