About the Role

We are seeking an Administration Team Lead to manage and support our Birmingham city centre client's vibrant administrative team in their bustling Birmingham City Centre office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to make a meaningful impact within this business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and motivate a team of administrators, ensuring smooth daily operations and high performance.
  • Excel Expertise: Create and maintain complex spreadsheets, analyse data, and provide insightful reports to support decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline administrative processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Task Delegation: Assign and monitor workload across the team, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Support Senior Leadership: Provide high-level administrative support, including diary management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any challenges within the administrative function.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 3 years in an administrative role, with at least 1 year in a leadership/admin management position.
  • Excel Wizardry: Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organised and Efficient: Ability to multitask, prioritise, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
  • Team Player: Approachable and collaborative, with a knack for building strong relationships.
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Initiative to identify and implement solutions.
