If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!We are seeking an Internal Sales Specialist to a vibrant team, providing essential sales and administrative support within our branch. This role is pivotal in maximising enquiry conversion to orders, achieving sales targets, and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.

Location: Birmingham, B6Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + BONUSMonday to Friday, Full time – Permanent Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 with a 1-hour lunch break

Day-to-day of the role:•    Follow up and file quotations to check competitiveness and secure sales.•    Provide feedback on pricing levels to Managers and maintain the accuracy of the sales daybook.•    Assist with project tracking of potential business and handle general customer enquiries regarding product availability, delivery dates, and product lead-times.•    Address customer complaints promptly to resolve issues satisfactorily.•    Proactively contact nil spend/dormant/targeted accounts as directed by Management.•    Respond to telephone sales enquiries and price them according to current guidelines to maximise profitable conversion to orders.•    Assist in collecting payments from debtors when appropriate.•    Manage confirmation orders, checking and advising any necessary amendments.•    Confirm dates and content of direct deliveries and pass information daily to invoicing.•    Liaise with suppliers and the Transport Manager regarding schedules and any alterations to delivery schedules.•    Maintain and update own price lists and assist in keeping branch price lists and manufacturer literature current.

Required Skills & Qualifications:•    Proven experience in sales or sales administration.•    Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.•    Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.•    Proficient in handling administrative duties and comfortable with data entry and analysis.•    Familiarity with health and safety regulations.•    Experience in using CRM systems and proficiency in MS Office.
