SF Recruitment are working with a leading national retail brand to recruit a Junior Buyer. We are looking for candidates who have either a good entry level of procurement/buying experience or FMCG sales experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as stock management, waste reduction, margin improvement, and sales growth.
- Develop and implement collaborative plans with suppliers to meet business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with small business owners and FMCG suppliers.
- Manage both branded and private label product lines.
- Oversee and track contract balances effectively.
- Handle administrative tasks, including stock control, order processing, setting up new product forms, and managing office communications.
- Conduct range reviews to evaluate and optimize product offerings.

- A motivated individual eager to grow and develop their skills as a buyer.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Well-organized, with excellent time management abilities.
- Previous experience in the industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, along with proficiency in numerical analysis and negotiation.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
