We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is eager to make a difference in the lives of students and who can deliver high-quality Spanish lessons that are both engaging and academically rigorous. Key Responsibilities:
Teach Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Plan and prepare lessons that inspire, challenge, and engage students in their learning of the Spanish language.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
Develop and deliver extra-curricular activities related to Spanish language and culture to promote student engagement and enthusiasm.
Promote positive behaviour and create a classroom environment conducive to learning, ensuring that students feel supported and motivated.
Collaborate with colleagues in the Modern Foreign Languages department to enhance teaching practices and curriculum development.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Specialist knowledge of Spanish and the ability to teach it effectively at KS3 and KS4.
Ability to plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
An understanding of and commitment to Safeguarding and child protection.
