We are searching for an exceptional Scheduler/Planner with aviation experience who will play a pivotal role in propelling their business growth, enhancing their planning capabilities, and continuously elevating operational performance. Get ready to make a tangible impact and soar to new heights in your career.Purpose of the Role:As a Scheduler/Planner, you will take charge of planning, maintaining, and controlling master schedules for projects and programs within our Operations. Your expertise will be vital in managing risks, optimizing work sequences, maximizing staff utilization, and efficiently handling material and resource constraints. Utilizing your technical knowledge, experience, historical data, and work scope information, you will create comprehensive master schedules for aircraft inputs, encompassing critical paths, high-risk tasks, key milestones, dependencies, and weekly resource demands across all trades.Your Responsibilities:Ensure the accuracy and up-to-date status of the master schedules by leveraging feedback, historical data, and available information.Collaborate with resource planning to inform strategic and tactical sales and operational planning, expertly balancing demand across the organization.Integrate additional and emergent work into baseline or live schedules to assess impacts on the critical path, resources, and project risks.Craft detailed task-level schedules within Microsoft Project, which will be utilized to update our ERP system.Facilitate seamless handover of schedules to the production team through effective communication.Through Part-145 Production planningSupporting Line/Base Check Manager during maintenance inputsAttend daily planning meetings.What We Seek in a Candidate:While a degree at the engineering or business level is preferred, we also value relevant experience.Confidence is key as you excel in building and nurturing strong working relationships.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for presenting reports and delivering impactful presentations.Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Project, is crucial for success in this role.You are self-motivated, capable of producing accurate work, and thrive in meeting tight deadlines.Your outstanding analytical skills enable you to navigate complex challenges and find effective solutions.Eligibility to obtain UK SC Security Clearance is a requirement.Desirable Skills:Working knowledge of MRP, ERP, and SAP systems will be highly advantageous.Previous experience in the Aerospace, Engineering, or Defense industry is beneficial, allowing you to hit the ground running.If you're seeking a fulfilling career as a Scheduler/Planner, seize this opportunity to unlock your potential.
