Commissioning Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced Mobile Commissioning Engineer to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Commissioning Engineer to work on diverse projects across various sites, ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of critical systems.
Key Requirements for the Commissioning Engineer:
- Proficiency in commissioning both water treatment and air filtration systems (essential)
- Experience with HVAC systems, pumps, and pipelines
- Building site experience in commercial, domestic, and industrial settings
- Valid CSCS card
- CSA grading
- Full clean driving license
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive commissioning of water treatment and air filtration systems
- As the Commissioning Engineer you would be required to verify and validate products including HVAC systems, pumps, and pipelines
- Ensure all installations meet design specifications, quality standards, and function efficiently, safely, and reliably
- Attend customer's pre-start site inductions and receive information on scope of works, site rules, and safety arrangements
- Conduct pre-start Site Risk Assessments and report unsafe conditions
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments
- Coordinate work with Site Manager
- Control work on site, including ongoing site safety risk assessments
- Use in-house system to record and document work
- Build effective relationships with on-site clients
Required Skills:
- Excellent organisation and time-keeping skills, ability to work to deadlines
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Standards, systems, procedures, and process-focused approach
- Self-motivation, initiative, and desire to learn and achieve
- Ability to travel within the region, with occasional overnight stays
