Commissioning Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Mobile Commissioning Engineer to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Commissioning Engineer to work on diverse projects across various sites, ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of critical systems.

Key Requirements for the Commissioning Engineer:

  • Proficiency in commissioning both water treatment and air filtration systems (essential)
  • Experience with HVAC systems, pumps, and pipelines
  • Building site experience in commercial, domestic, and industrial settings
  • Valid CSCS card
  • CSA grading
  • Full clean driving license
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive commissioning of water treatment and air filtration systems
  • As the Commissioning Engineer you would be required to verify and validate products including HVAC systems, pumps, and pipelines
  • Ensure all installations meet design specifications, quality standards, and function efficiently, safely, and reliably
  • Attend customer's pre-start site inductions and receive information on scope of works, site rules, and safety arrangements
  • Conduct pre-start Site Risk Assessments and report unsafe conditions
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments
  • Coordinate work with Site Manager
  • Control work on site, including ongoing site safety risk assessments
  • Use in-house system to record and document work
  • Build effective relationships with on-site clients

  • Excellent organisation and time-keeping skills, ability to work to deadlines
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Standards, systems, procedures, and process-focused approach
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and desire to learn and achieve
  • Ability to travel within the region, with occasional overnight stays
