An electronics company in Birmingham, specialising in IoT healthcare devices, is looking for an Electronic Component Engineer to join their R&D team. Ensuring the right electronic components are used is critical to their products' success.

Role Overview:

  • Select, introduce, and maintain electronic components.
  • Source alternatives for obsolete or unsuitable electronic components.
  • Work within the R&D team on new and existing product developments.
  • Ensure a secure supply chain throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Experience:

  • Degree in electronics or relevant industry experience.
  • 3+ years in a similar role
  • Knowledge of analogue/mixed-signal circuits, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
  • Confident in sourcing and evaluating electronic components.
