Working independently representing my client at Customer premises, this role supports the field service team. The role covers installation, service, repair, and calibration of their precision measuring equipment. This is a field-based role focusing mainly on their customer base in the Midlands, although travel further afield maybe required as well as occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

  • Visit customer sites
  • Install precision measuring equipment.
  • Complete service and calibration work.
  • Undertake trouble shooting including fault-finding, diagnosis and rectification.

Key requirements

  • Minimum of HNC/BTEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience.
  • Effective communicator, organisation skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Full valid driving license.
  • Experience of fault finding on mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Have good interpersonal skills.
