Quest Global is seeking a Quality Engineer to work closely with one of our key customers in Solihull, UK, to aid them in ensuring optimal quality and minimised turnbacks of bought in parts. Successful candidates will work between customer and supplier sites, working with the supplier on solving and minimising manufacturing defects, and ensuring part quality is to standard for the customer.
Candidates should be able to meet the below standards:
Work Experience
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5+ years of prior relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering or similar, in absence of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience
Knowledge/Skills
SAP background
Aerospace engineering experience - Quality/Manufacturing/Production
Experience of Aerospace MRO projects
Knowledge/experience of standard Quality tools
RCCA
8D
Ishikawa
PPAP experience, particularly FAI activities
Change control experience
Good GDT skills
Problem solving
Waste removal
Self starter - minimal supervision
Proactive
