We are recruiting for a Safety and Compliance Engineer to work for this large aircraft maintenance organisation. You will need to come from an aircraft maintenance environment and have experience of Auditing and monitoring compliance within a Pt 145 organisation.



Key responsibilities and accountability's:

  • Attend meetings with regulatory authorities and internal and external stake holders as a member of the Safety and Compliance Team.
  • Assist the Safety and Compliance Manager to produce and amend the Maintenance documents and procedures.
  • Develop and manage the Audit schedule both internally and externally.
  • Carry out Audits internally and externally in line with compliance processes
  • Monitor compliance for the MRP Part 145 and AS9110 approvals
  • Assist the Compliance Manager in preparation of Quality Records.
  • Manage staff records and ensure these are maintained and catalogued for each job function ensuring that assessments for each function are established and maintained.
  • Maintain proficiency in and stay updated on regulatory standards such as MAA MRP145, EASA & CAA Part 145, FAA 145, and AS9100, as well as company compliance manuals.



Profile and skills:
2+ years Quality/Auditing within an aviation industry, with knowledge of MAA MRP145, EASA Part 145, 21.G, FAR145 regulations, AS9100 and best practice.

  • Experience in the development and implementation of a QMS.
  • Experience in compliance auditing.
  • Experience in Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of QMS policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Safety Management Systems
  • Knowledge of human factors, human performance and limitations
