Our client is a leading transport planning consultancy and is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Design Engineer to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Highway Design Engineer looking to develop their career within a dynamic and supportive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing design and have the opportunity to build and lead a Civil Engineering team within the consultancy. Key Responsibilities:
Undertake design and modelling of highways, junctions and other infrastructure schemes
Preparation of technical reports, drawings, specifications and cost estimates
Work collaboratively with other members of the team and external stakeholders
Ensure designs meet relevant standards and regulations
Manage and deliver projects to high standards within time and budget constraints
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field
Strong technical skills in highway design and modelling software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and PDS
Good understanding of relevant design standards, regulations and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
