Our client, a well known Engineering Consultancy, are looking for a StructuralEngineer to join their growing team based in Birmingham.

As Structural Engineer you will be responsible for:
Leading the project team to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines.
Attending meetings with architects and contractors to establish needs.
Leading structural design for major projects.
Leading the production of calculations, drawings and reports.
Providing technical guidance to project team.
Supervising and mentor junior staff.
Site Inspections & coordination.


Essential Skills & Knowledge
  • A recognised degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 to 6+ years structural design experience in the UK Construction Market
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Understanding of engineering principles and materials including concrete & steel
  • Experience of undertaking steel and concrete design to Eurocodes, UK Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Technical Standards.
  • Proficiency in Structural Engineering design software such as Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit
  • Good planning, organisation, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A 'can do' attitude with commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards.
  • Up to date with continuous developments in Structural Engineering.
