A new Structural Technician rolehas arisen with myClient in Birmingham.There has never been a more exciting time to join my Client's company,with the development of a new Team and Department of skilled and highly experienced engineering professionals already in placeand expanding! Offering centrally located offices, hybrid working arrangements and a healthy pipeline of work and projects to be involved in as a Structural Technician.
MyClient is on the lookout for a talented Structural Technician to work on a range of projects across the broad residential sector (housing, apartments, mid-rise, retirement) as well as other design schemes set across the Structural Engineering sector.
Skills
- Knowledge of concrete, steel and load-bearing masonry and timber structures
- Ability to review and implement site investigation reports, NHBC guidelines, Building Regulations, LABC and BRE etc.
- Attend Design team Meetings
- Attend site to review issues if and when required
- Undertaking of structural drawings and details including RC Detailing
Software:
- AutoCAD
- CADS RC
- Revit - Not essential to success int he role but beneficial
- Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam
