Change and Release Manager

Change and Release Manager - Agile Environment, Scrum, ITIL, Stakeholder Management, ADO, Azure Platform, SQL Server, ITSM Tools - Hybrid (Birmingham) - £55-60k + bens

A Change and Release Manager is urgently required by this UK market leader. The role carries full responsibility for the management of the day-to-day changes and new releases implemented across my clients global estate. This will involve handling, scheduling and deployment of all changes and releases throughout the business.

Change and Release Manager Role and Responsibilities:

- Take responsibility for end-to-end change and release management via a best-practice, structured approach

- Manage all release management activities across the Delivery teams (Development, DevOps, QA etc), setting direction/ priorities and addressing all challenges

- Manage a broad range of technical and operational stakeholders across the business by clear, concise and informative communication

- Co-ordinate across multiple teams to identify and track contents of releases

- Run and manage Change meetings and CABs across the business

Change and Release Manager Skills and Experience:

- Substantial experience in a Change and Release Manager role including excellent stakeholder management

- Experience of working as a Change and Release Manager in an Agile development environment (preferably Scrum)

- Skilled in cross-team/ matrix management to lead the full delivery of releases

- Experience working in a Microsoft development environment including knowledge of Development and DevOps teams and associated technologies (ADO, Azure tools, SQL Server, .Net, C#, React, JavaScript etc)

- ITIL accreditation and a good knowledge of ITSM tools

A key part of the role involves working on a programme of incremental delivery to provide change and improvement to overall service and performance. This will involve creating the processes, solutions and standards to ensure that customers receive a best-in-class service
