They manage every stage of their projects in-house, from development and design to construction and operation ensuring efficiency and quality throughout. As their portfolio continues to expand, we are seeking an HSE Manager to lead and oversee health, safety, and environmental practices across their operations, ensuring compliance, promoting a culture of safety, and driving continuous improvement.

The HSE Manager role comes with a salary of up to 50,000 plus car allowance and benefits.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Construction Manager you will;

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and standards in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Establish and communicate a clear HSE strategy across all departments.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, standards, and certifications through regular audits and inspections.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimise workplace hazards.
  • Investigate incidents thoroughly, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are completed, while maintaining detailed records.
  • Provide HSE oversight and support across project development, construction, and operational phases, ensuring seamless integration of HSE considerations.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies, contractors, and clients, and represent the company in HSE-related forums and industry events.


Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • A degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, supported by relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001, or ISO 14001).
  • Proven experience in an HSE management role within the renewable energy, construction, or a related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards specific to commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and oversee effective HSE strategies across diverse project phases.
