Principal Designer & CDM Advisor
Location: Birmingham (1 day WFH)
Salary Up to 65,000 + Benefits
An established, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a highly skilled professional to join their expanding Health & Safety team. As a Principal Designer, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring compliance and best practices across a variety of dynamic projects across diverse sectors, including commercial, education, civil, housing, leisure, and logistics. Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Principal Designer, lead the Principal Designer role across a variety of projects, ensuring full compliance with CDM 2015.
  • As a Principal Designer, provide expert CDM advice and guidance to clients, contractors, and design teams.
  • As a Principal Designer, attend Design Team Meetings and Risk Workshops to drive health and safety best practices.
  • As a Principal Designer, monitor and review design risk management processes and ensure compliance at every stage.
  • As a Principal Designer, conduct site inspections and assess contractor health and safety compliance.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • As a Principal Designer, have a proven track record as a Principal Designer and CDM Advisor.
  • As a Principal Designer, have experience in managing CDM projects from inception to completion.
  • As a Principal Designer, hold a NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or Diploma.
  • As a Principal Designer, have relevant professional memberships in health and safety.
  • As a Principal Designer, have a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
