The Opportunity
We are seeking a Design Manager to take the lead on a refurbishment scheme involving structural alterations. You’ll have the chance to shape and deliver this flagship project while working closely with clients and a highly skilled team. Beyond this, you'll be part of an organization with a reputation for excellence and a robust workload across the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the design process from pre-construction to completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations, budgets, and deadlines.
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
• Coordinating with architects, consultants, and internal teams to resolve design challenges effectively.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations, quality standards, and technical specifications.

What We’re Looking For:

• Relevant qualifications in construction, architecture, or engineering.
• Proven experience in a Design Manager role, ideally with a main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of construction design processes, especially in refurbishment and structural projects.
• Exceptional communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
