We’re working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary practice that’s looking for a Design Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role and work across a diverse range of sectors including Formula 1, Life Sciences, Data Centres, and Automotive.

Whether you come from an architectural or engineering background, if you’ve previously acted as a Lead Consultant or Project Architect on complex schemes, this could be the next step in your career.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Delivering professional design management across a range of multi-disciplinary projects.

  • Defining design programmes, deliverables, and communication strategies.

  • Leading internal and external design team meetings.

  • Supporting project administration and reporting in collaboration with Lead Consultants.

  • Ensuring quality assurance processes and client technical approvals are in place.

  • Helping to establish teams and workflows that set projects up for long-term success.

What You’ll Need
  • Experience managing complex design projects as a Lead Consultant or similar.

  • Solid understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work, with experience across pre- and post-contract stages.

  • Previous involvement in large-scale projects (architecture or engineering).

  • Comfortable using digital tools for managing the design process (e.g. MS Excel, MS Project, document management systems).

  • Experience with BIM deliverables and design programming is a bonus.
