We are working closely with a successful UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who hold a national presence. They are now recruiting in the Midlands region to take on a qualified and hardworking Asbestos Surveyor to join their longstanding company. You will be working in line with company and client needs, carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys in line with HSG 264 guidelines across Commercial, Local Authority and Domestic sites. Our client has multiple roles available so would consider candidates who hold a mix of the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 qualifications. For the successful candidate, our client is offering the opportunity to cross train into other environmental sectors, opportunities for overtime and enrolment onto the company pension scheme.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Solihull, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Lutterworth, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock, Rugeley, Stafford, Wolverhampton, Coalville, Burton upon Trent, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Droitwich Spa, Worcester, Redditch, Relford, Derby, Nottingham, Beeston, Loughborough, Leicester, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent is essential to the role.
" Will have experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Company, working hands on as an Asbestos Surveyor.
" Well versed in HSG 264 guidelines.
" Holding the BOHS P403 / P404 would be beneficial but training can be provided.
" Will have excellent IT skills.
The Role:
" Conducting management and R&D surveys.
" Undertaking re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Sampling of suspected ACMs on site ensuring to bag and label correctly prior to sending for analysis.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines,
" Creating detailed & site specific reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Working on Commercial, Local Authority and Domestic sites.
