We are working closely with a reputable and professional provider of Asbestos Management services in the West Midlands who provide high quality services to their longstanding clients. Due to continued success, they are now seeking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor to join their friendly team. Covering predominantly Commercial and Housing sites, you will be responsible for carrying out the full range of surveying services in line with client needs and HSG 264 guidelines. Due to the nature of the role, our client would give consideration to candidates who have limited experience in the industry looking to take a step forward and gain more experience.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: West Bromwich, Coventry, Walsall, Telford, Stafford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Cannock, Rugley, Nuneaton, Halesowen, Market Drayton, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Worcester, Solihull, Royal Leamington Spa, Market Harborough, Corby, Leicester, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Tamworth, Lichfield, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, Beeston, Nottingham.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent is essential to the role.
" Will have experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy as a hands-on Asbestos Surveyor.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical skills of HSG 264 guidelines.
" IT literate, able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Good communication skills.
" Able to carry out work in a timely manner in line with company and client needs.
The Role:
" Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on Commercial and Housing sites.
" Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to bag safely and correctly label before sending for analysis.
" Gathering information from site to produce detailed reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice and support.
" Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
