NEOS Engineering are currently working with one of the UK’s largest plant companies who are looking for a Lead Plant fitter, they specialize in Merlo Telehandlers all across the North West to Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Plant fitter who has experience working on Merlo machinery but wants more overtime and responsibility.
The ideal Plant fitter is a candidate who has 5 years experience carrying out service, maintenance and repair of all types of construction plant machinery. The candidate will be confident working alone and be able to think on their feet!
The day to day role of the Lead Plant fitter is travelling across the Midlands and North West for your employer attending machines that they have out on hire. The day to day role can vary from routine services to breakdowns, your role is to get the customers machine back up and running as quickly as possible!

The Role:
- Service, Maintenance & Repair of Heavy Plant & Merlo machinery
- Covering Birmingham and the North West
- Mechanical & Electrical repairs – diesel engines, hydraulic systems, diagnostics.
The Candidate:
- Experience working on Merlo Equipment
- Eager to receive overtime & progression
- NVQ Level 2/3 on Construction or Agricultural Plant Maintenance
- Full Driving License.
