Job Title: AV Install Engineer
Location: West Midlands
About the Role:
Our client, a leading provider of innovative audio-visual (AV) and IT solutions, is seeking an experienced AV Install Engineer to join their team. With a reputation for delivering high-quality technology systems across education, healthcare, and local authorities, this is an exciting opportunity to work with a company at the forefront of the AV industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission AV equipment, including projectors, displays, speakers, smartboards, and equipment racks.
- Interpret and implement audio-visual schematics and construction drawings.
- Attend site coordination meetings to ensure seamless integration of AV systems.
- Maintain accurate records of installations and report progress to Project Managers.
- Collaborate with internal departments, clients, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Ensure all installations comply with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in AV installation and commissioning.
- Strong technical knowledge of electronics and AV systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to project timelines.
