Audio Visual Installation Engineer Opportunity
Are you an energetic and enthusiastic engineer seeking to advance your career in the audio visual industry? As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated AV Installation Engineer to join our team.
About the Role
As an AV Installation Engineer, you will:
- Install and commission audio visual and networking equipment
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Interpret AV schematics and construction drawings
- Assist with first and second fix installations in commercial settings
- Build and wire AV equipment racks
- Manage workloads to meet diverse client priorities
- Collaborate with internal departments, clients, and contractors
- Pursue ongoing training to keep skills current
- Adhere to Health and Safety standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time
- Utilize internal systems to ensure efficient workflows
- Demonstrate flexibility to support business development
- Perform additional tasks as directed by management
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in commercial AV installations
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK, including overnight stays
- A clean, organized, and efficient work approach
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional appearance
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- A full UK driving licence
Position Details
- Hours: Full-time, permanent, Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 17:00pm
- Salary: 27,000 - 32,000, depending on experience
- Benefits: Company vehicle with fuel card, provided PPE and tools, ongoing training and development, 22 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, length-of-service holiday bonus scheme, free parking, health insurance scheme, employee discounts, and co-ownership eligibility after 12 months with access to the Partnership Profitability Bonus Scheme
This role requires frequent travel across the UK with regular overnight stays; a valid driving licence is essential. You will report to the Technical Director/Technical Project Manager.
