SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Birmingham who are looking for a Products & Propositions Lead - Connectivity & Communications Hybrid £60,000 - £70,000 Role: You will be constantly collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that propositions deliver growth, and that products & services are delivered on time, within budget. The role accountabilities include, but are not limited to: - Delivering innovations based upon clear customer, market and technology understanding, delivering propositions that enable profitable growth that exceeds budgets. This working with sales specialists, technical solution architects and commercial as core stakeholders. - Stimulating lead generation and growth; create and deliver agile go-to-market propositions that have clear target markets & personas, descriptions of customer problem/ solution statements, service differentiators and evidence points to provide to marketing. Hypotheses on what we would want to take to which markets, ideally at a vertical level. - Ability to envisage & launch commercial pricing propositions and bundles that promote new business, cross and upsell opportunities. - Maintaining the product & service portfolio operationally, commercially and technically, ensuring we manage: o new product introduction process vendor & technical evaluation process (to include red flag commercials, ESG, security) & ongoing vendor recommendations & maintenance/ replacement. o Maintenance of existing product & services portfolio, to include ensuring we have technical, sales and commercial capability to win in changing markets o Sunsetting and retiring of products and services. - Creation of go-to-market strategies and tactics per propositions category to include: o Sales enablement materials & sales training, proposal documentation. o Customer communications & updates, promotions o Agile minimum viable propositions to test in marketing o Refinement through customer forum and insight management & marketing tests. - You will oversee, full product operational readiness & processes to include: o Service definition design - API & portal o Sales enablement documentation on SLA, service definition, APIs, boiler plate for proposals. Technical specifications documentation, service handbooks. o Training (on processes), technical, provide and assure o Commercial, contracts & pricing (commercial lead) o Security definitions, credibility, certification & reporting o Sustainability definitions credibility, certification & reporting - KPIS o Revenue, margin, profit, contribution to overheads, ideally EBITDA o Marketing (MQL), sales (SQL) and Pipeline (Opportunity) adds and funnel conversion rates o Sales performance vs targets & market growth o New business sales profitability o Roadmap delivery v milestones
