- Managing a varied book of SME and mid-market clients across multiple sectors
- Handling both renewals and new business, with full ownership of the client journey
- Developing an in-depth understanding of your clients’ businesses, risks, and insurance needs
- Preparing and presenting tailored insurance programmes, using your market knowledge and access to insurer partners
- Delivering on renewal retention and growth targets, contributing to the wider team’s performance
- Conducting client meetings and insurer negotiations to secure competitive terms
- Managing your own diary, priorities, and pipeline with a high level of autonomy
- Keeping on top of compliance, CPD, and company policies – and ensuring client files are always audit-ready
- Supporting a collaborative and customer-led culture where service and performance are equally valued
- Experience in SME/Commercial Broking
- Strong Insurance market awareness and the ability to navigate insurer relationships confidently
- Commercial acumen – able to understand a client’s operations, risks, and growth potential
- Proven track record in account management, retention, and cross-selling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – written and verbal
- Highly organised, proactive, and self-motivated
