Due to continued growth Next Generation are recruiting for a Quality Technician to work with a well-established engineering company based near Tyseley. As the Quality Technician you will be responsible for undertaking several tasks both autonomously and under supervision all relating to dimensional measuring and reporting.

Shift pattern for the Quality Technician:

  • Monday - Friday (14:00pm - 10:00pm)

Duties of the Quality Technician:

  • Measuring components for full dimensional reports, cap studies & R&R studies.
  • Following pre-defined alignments & report outputs to desired quality standards
  • 5S of work centre
  • Adherence to H&S guidelines, e.g., PPE requirements

The successful candidate for the Quality Technicians position will have the following experience:

  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions (Essential)
  • An appreciation for using at least of the following software’s (Axel, PCDMIS, Metrology or Camio)
  • Understanding and appreciation of the following (ITP, Hexagon, Roamer Arm, LK or Handyscan)
