Your new companyHays is proud to present a role for our private-sector client based within Birmingham. They are looking for new additions to their Accounts Payable team to assist with their growing business. Your new roleAs part of the Accounts Support team, you will be a Purchase Ledger Clerk/Administrator. The responsibilities will include:- Processing a high volume of purchase invoices- Deal with any enquiries related to payments, invoices and liaising with the necessary departments- Setting up, amending and reconciling Supplier Accounts - Assisting with period-end activities - Any other ad-hoc duties What you'll need to succeed- At least 1 year of experience within an Accountancy Support role, preferably within Purchase Ledgering- Experience with Sage and good Excel skills (Vlookups, PivotTables etc) - Ability to go into the office 5 days a week - Ability to adapt and perform with high volume processing What you'll get in returnThis is a growing company belonging to an exciting sector.
