Our highly successful client is based in Birmingham and are looking for an immediately available, confident Accounts Payable clerk who has gained experience in a similar role. This is required as you must be comfortable with AP duties including processing invoices, resolving queries, assisting with the preparation of payment runs, managing and reconciling supplier statements and accounts.

What you'll need:

  • Previous experience taking on the above duties will be highly beneficial as the client is looking for someone who is ready to jump into the role
  • In order to liaise smoothly across different departments and with a range of suppliers, excellent communication skills are essential
  • Strong time management and organisational capabilities in order to efficiently handle queries and reconciliations whilst keeping on top of the other tasks mentioned
  • Proficiency using IT systems, including Microsoft Excel
